Privacy Policy
Deadpoint (formerly Crimp Block) · Last updated 8 September 2026
The short version: Deadpoint stores your email (to sign you in), the training sessions you log, and the weights you record against exercises. That's it. There is no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no location data, and your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Who this policy covers
Deadpoint is provided by R. T. Sullivan Consulting Limited ("we", "us"), trading as Deadpoint, registered in England and Wales at Unit 2, 02 High Weald House, Glovers End, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39 5ES. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Email address: used to sign you in via a one-time code (no passwords are stored, by you or us). Handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
- Training session log: the date and type of each session you log (e.g. "Max Fingers", "Rest").
- Exercise weight log: the working weight you record against specific exercises, and the date recorded. This is fitness data you enter yourself; we don't read it from Apple Health, Google Fit, or any other health platform.
- Subscription status: whether your subscription is active, via RevenueCat. Not your payment details, which we never see.
We do not collect your name, location, contacts, browsing history, device advertising identifiers, or any data through analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. None are included in the app.
Why we collect it
Solely to run the app: to know who you are when you sign in, and to compute your next recommended session and correct working weights from your own history. Nothing here is used for advertising or profiling, and nothing is used for any purpose beyond delivering the training plan you're using the app for.
Our lawful basis is performance of a contract with you: the app cannot do its job without this data.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, who process it on our behalf under their own data processing agreement. Database access is protected by row-level security, so your training data is visible only to your own signed-in account — not to other users, and not readable by us without deliberately querying the database as the operator. Supabase project region: West EU (Ireland), eu-west-1 — your data is stored within the EEA.
A small on-device cache of your upcoming week is also stored locally on your phone (in the app's private storage and, if you use it, the home-screen widget's shared container), purely so the widget can show something before the app has had a chance to refresh it. This never leaves your device.
Who else touches it
- Supabase: database and sign-in, EU region, as above.
- Resend: sends your one-time sign-in code emails.
- RevenueCat: tells the app whether your subscription is active.
- Apple / Google: take the payment. We never see your card details.
- Cloudflare: serves this website.
Each acts as a processor on our instructions. None of them are given your data to use for their own marketing.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
To delete everything: in the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. That removes the underlying account record, and your session log and weight log go with it — they're linked to it directly, not kept separately.
You can also email [email protected] and we'll do it for you. We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Do that through the App Store or Play Store, as described on the support page.
Your rights
If you're in the UK or EU, UK GDPR / EU GDPR gives you the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data;
- object to or restrict how we process your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO) if you think we've got something wrong.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
Subscriptions and payment
If you subscribe to Deadpoint, payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see or store your card details — their own privacy policies cover that transaction. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment information.
Children
Deadpoint is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
